Katya is an actor based in New York City. Born and raised in Ohio, her background includes film, theatre, and improvisation. She formerly pursued a career in psychotherapy before receiving her formal training at William Esper Studio’s Two-Year Professional Acting Conservatory.

Katya is drawn to comedy that her three years of long-form improv experience nurtured. She frequently brings innocence, quirkiness, and unexpected darkness to her comedic roles, as well as grit, vulnerability, and warmth to her dramatic roles. Her work experience in psychology and finance makes her a natural fit for young professional characters.

Katya is an artist through and through who enjoys drawing, writing, and music. She frequently spends her free time in nature, reading in a café, watching ghost investigations, and envisioning herself as a hair metal drummer.
